Vermont
Plaza
8191 Vermont Blvd is listed on the federal list of historical
buildings. A Lebanese Jew built this 1924 structure as a market
and later served as the administration Building of Pepperdine
University. The towered Art deco building had been left to the
elements for the past 20 years and was bought and developed
by Shepard Development and the CRA.
ETz Construction,Inc. was chosen out of a short list of qualified
contractors. Under the Tight supervision of the Los Angeles
Historical Heritage Foundation, this |

project was completed
within the allocated budget and restored to the beautiful building
it once was.
Unfortunately it has stayed vacant since the completion in 2001.
